Sage & Lui’s Engagement Session in Campbell Valley Regional Park in British Columbia. 

The inspiration for this engagement session was candid and relaxed. A sunset session in the park like any other weekend afternoon. We scheduled this session just before sunset to ensure the sun would be peaking through at the start, then the softest light to end the shoot off with after the sun went down. Sage & Lui went with a natural outfit palette to keep the attention just on the two of them, they also brought a few accessories to change into. (Pro tip: It’s always a great idea to do a quick outfit change to add variety into your gallery.) Campbell Valley Park was perfect for this couple, we did this shoot in November of 2021. With fall coming to an end, this location still provided warm tones with its long grass and surrounding forest. Sage & Lui were also open to playing around with motion which I was so excited about! I love the candid moments I was able to capture in this session.
