Marissa & Arthur’s Engagement Session at Studio Maesa in North Vancouver

This couple originally met through Bumble and they’re now engaged! I was so excited for them when I heard they were hoping to work with me for a classic and simple couples session. For this spring engagement shoot, this couple chose to do a studio located in North Vancouver, BC. The big windows created a bright atmosphere which made for stunning photographs. At the beautiful Studio Maesa in the afternoon which made for the softest lighting.

Marissa & Arthur’s priority for this shoot was to highlight the two of them at this stage in their lives and relationship. You can really feel the love and excitement through these images that they will cherish forever. I coached this couple through posing together, so we were able to get creative. I love creating dimension through different poses, with just a simple white wall and wardrobe the attention stays on the beautiful couple.

You’ll never regret including plants and pampas grass in a studio session, as they make for a great background—they bring a fresh aesthetic to any photoshoot.
