Liz & Faye’s Family Session at Sunset Studio in Vancouver, B.C. 

I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph these sisters in the beautiful Sunset Studio in Vancouver. The simplicity of this studio creates an opportunity for creativity—in this case, we were inspired to do flash photography. We scheduled this session during sunset, so we were able to get a variety of styles. The light just before sunset provided us with a stunning soft, more classic look. Then when the sun went down we got the flash out and experimented with more shadow technique. Liz & Faye really trusted my vision which helped the session flow perfectly.
